I know you shouldn’t have favourites, so please don’t tell anyone this…this shoot is one of my lush little favs! I have many reasons for this, the top one is this is where I met some of the most talented creative humans I know, who I’ve not only worked with since but I’ve completely fallen in love with them!
The brains behind this beauty is from Kiki of Chosen Wedding. She pulled together an amazing team from her Chosen Wedding family we created this bloody brilliant shoot.
Here’s Kiki to explain a little more…
We really wanted to show how contemporary styling could bring a different look or edge to a vintage styled wedding, offering an alternative fresh look to what is already lovely, but may have been done before. Finding Brixton East was a fantastic part of the journey in planning the shoot, the brickwork walls, wooden flooring and rustic feel set the perfect backdrop for the playful ‘secret wedding’ shoot bursting with colour, excitement and a lot of tiny details to bring the wow factor to life.
I decided to push my floral boundaries here and created the artichoke vase, it was such a show stopper bringing a quirky elegant twist to the table. I kept the florals light with pinks and corals, popping in thistles and succulents to bring all the delicious textures together.
I’m not going to keep you any longer, I hope you love this as much as we do!
